Why?
Built For Those Who Serve
That isn't just our motto. That is what drives us. We are a company of first responders and veterans dedicated to sharing what we have learned to improve the performance, health, and longevity of our brothers and sisters in service.

Our Story
I was initially introduced to the firefighting world as an EMT looking to build resume points with a volunteer fire department for my eventual medical school application. When I walked into that station for the first time, I did not know how much my life plans would change.

In short, I fell in love.

Fast forward a few years, and rather than becoming a surgeon as I had always planned, I moved to Florida and pursued my other passion and obtained a M.S. in Exercise & Nutrition Science. While in Tampa, I worked as a Strength & Conditioning coach with offseason professional and collegiate athletes. I also worked as a personal trainer in South Tampa, specializing in athletes, military members, and "medically complicated" clients.

The fire bug could not be held down anymore and in 2017 I returned to firefighting, eventually getting into special operations and obtaining my paramedic license. Fitness reverted to a personal passion project - eventually competing in NPC bodybuilding before retiring (for now) at the end of the 2025 season.

The concept of Oath Performance has been kicking around my head for a few years now. I always insisted that first responders and military should be trained as professional athletes... because that's what we are. The difference is that we don't compete for trophies, we compete to come home to our families while literally putting it all on the line to serve and protect our neighbors.

Here we are at the end of 2025 and that idea is maturing into Oath Performance to give first responders and military the fitness, nutrition, wellness, and community support they need and deserve. We are wired differently than most - it's time to be coached differently, train differently, and win.
